what to wear: the voting polls
Today, you vote. Today is when you get the opportunity to have your voice heard. Rock the vote in this outfit for the polls by wearing a pair of your favorite jeans and some rain boots (apparently most of us will be dealing with rain on Election Day.)
Layer as appropriate starting with your political icon tee of choice — mine is Obama and this tshirt is done by the one-and-only Shepard Fairey whose artwork has been copied by thousands (support the artist and get the real version done by his co!) Add a yummy cardigan and throw on a puffer for battling the elements. Show your voting spirit with this non-partisan tote by Kate Spade. Most items are on sale so enjoy!

Just remember to cover up anything you are wearing that supports any candidate or measure when you get to the polls. It’s against the law to campaign w/in a certain number of feet of polling places, and wearing Ts and buttons is considered campaigning. Apparently the poll workers will ask you to go into the bathroom to turn your shirt inside if they have to.
