what to wear: spring wedding

I have been coveting this dress for a while now and decided to let you in on it. It is from the queen of dresses herself, Diane von Furstenberg, and it’s perfect for an elongated hourglass (long waist, smaller bust) or a triangle because of the detail and neckline on top.
Wear it with the jacket for the ceremony (it can drape open, be belted, or closed with the one-button) and then alone for the reception afterwards.

I love your outfit suggestions and religiously follow your blog. However, I would like to see more reasonably priced options. This outfit is over $1,200. For most people that is a mortgage payment, not what they can afford to spend on one look.
While I understand this blog is about inspiration, I , too find the prices to be way out of most of our price range.
I have long suspected that a ” normal” woman can never actually look good because of our price constrictions.
