Overview
The Wardrobe 911 Personal Color System was developed for professionals knowledgeable about color theory to offer customized color palettes to their clientele.
The system has over 875 fabric colors and is based on Johannes Itten’s color wheel of hue, value and saturation with the addition of warm and cool neutrals (the basic building blocks of a wardrobe.) Each paddle consists of 5 to 6 colors of the same hue, temperature, value and saturation. Portfolios (eg fans) of colors are grouped by hue and then delineated by value (light, medium, dark) and by saturation to allow for easy selection of colors.
The paddles are organized into the following 13 portfolios/groups:
1. Cool Neutrals
2. Warm Neutrals
3. Yellow
4. Orange (includes Yellow-Orange)
5. Red-Orange
6. Red
7. Red-Violet
8. Violet
9. Blue-Violet
10. Blue
11. Blue-Green
12. Green
13. Yellow-Green
