how to become a personal stylist WEBINAR

how to become a personal stylist, webinar on how to become a personal stylist Hi Everyone!

You’ve seen a few of my blog posts here recently and I thought it’d be a good idea to formally introduce myself and share a snippet of my style journey with all of you!

After working five years in the fashion industry as a Fashion Designer for denim, women’s knits and high-end apparel I found my love of fashion being put into a stressful job rather than my true passion. I decided I wanted to try styling because it could give me the opportunity to help people on a one-on-one basis and really let my true talents of fit, coloring, tailoring, closet sweeps, and personal shopping shine through.

When I got the opportunity to train with the Style Institute, I stefanie nissen, stylist, fashion, realized it was the best option for me to learn how to be a successful personal stylist. Through the courses I learned valuable information about how to conduct a style consultation, determine style personalities, color analysis, body types, closet sweep, personal shopping, marketing, how to start my business, and a lot more! They gave me the tools I would need for my clients and business. I have a degree from FIDM, which provided a lot of valuable information and the basis of my fashion knowledge. The Style Institute really has helped me to get a greater understanding of how to actually start and run my own business. It gave me the confidence and understanding I needed to take things to the next level.

I absolutely LOVE being a personal stylist through Wardrobe 911.  It is so rewarding to transform someone to be their true authentic selves, meaning what is on the inside reflects on the outside. I couldn’t think of a more rewarding career and one that I have such a passion for. Teresa Morisco is such an inspiration and unlike any other mentor. She really wants all her stylists to be successful and she is extremely helpful on a personal level, unlike other institutes that take your money and then say “OK, good luck!” She is really successful and has learned from trial and error and she wants to help others prevent the same mistakes and also what works and what doesn’t. How amazing is that?

I had some unique and wonderful opportunities that led me to start working for Wardrobe 911 and the Style Institute as their Stylist Administrator. I continue to learn a lot as we ramp up for our next venture, which is a website that provides even more detailed and specific styling info AND one-on-one, accessible and affordable online styling services. This website is going to be really cool because we believe it will create an even bigger demand for in-person styling services, nationwide.

If you have ever thought about being a stylist, this could be the perfect time.  If you are even a little bit curious, I’d love you to join us for our two-part webinar series “How to become a Personal Stylist.” We are planning a fun contest where you will have the opportunity to have one of your designs featured right here on the front page of Wardrobe 911! You don’t need to have any special skills to be on the call or enter the contest. So, come play! http://www.styleinstitute.net/becomeastylist/

Best Wishes,

Stef
