Forty percent of women are hourglasses.  You are an hourglass if your shoulders + hips are the same width and you have a small waist.  There should be at least an 8 inch difference between your bust and waist and your waist and hips.  If not, review the Rectangle body type.

Forty percent of women are rectangles.  You are a rectangle if your shoulders + hips are the same width and your waist is fairly non-existent.  Your silhouette is almost straight up and down and you typically gain weight in your tummy area first.
