If you’re bored with your work clothes, here are some fun yet subtle ideas for adding a new twist to the tried and true staples in your closet.

1. Up your style quotient at work with a belted top. These are all around the stores this season and are a great option over the top and cardi combo. This tweed top looks great belted or not and is perfect with a pair of black wool twill trousers for a day at the office. Switch out the black belt with a red, green, blue or purple belt and you immediately change the look a bit.
2. Add a kick to your wardrobe with some Christin Michaels ankle boots and prep-inspired socks. When you’re sitting, they’ll add a fun element of surprise when they peek out from under your pant legs.
3. To shake your work wardrobe on a daily basis, wear a big watch; they certainly add some personal flair and come in a multitude of colors and styles.   It’s a great way to punch up your outfits without doing much else.
4. If you’re due for a new tote, you might want to get one in a yummy patent color.  This patent tote comes in basic black but the grape color adds just enough pop to an outfit and is neutral enough to work with all colors.
